Maurice Conrad McGhee was born on November 4, 1969 to the late William Lewis McGhee and the late Bertha Beatrice McGhee who he precedes in death along with his sister Yvette Oliver and step father Charles Oliver.
He lived in Amelia County Virginia until the tender age of 4 during that time he attended Promise Land Baptist church (our family church) with his grand father the late James Epps of Amelia County.
After moving to Richmond Virginia in 1975 he attended the Richmond Public School system and became member of The First Baptist Church, where he attended 2 days a week.
After high school he went on to job corps for a brief time. Marty loved to cook, loved to talk smack at the spades table loved GoGo and country music. His hobbies were buying cars and fixing them up.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Patricia McGhee of 34 years; two sons Maurice Jerell McGhee (Richmond) and Labree Wilder(Texas); two daughters Tiarra Necole McGhee (Atlanta) and Alexus Briana McGhee (Richmond); two sisters Donna Clanton of Richmond (and a devoted brother n law) and Charlien Oliver of Richmond; three grandchildren Raelyn, Nazir, and Tayden, whom he adored; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a devoted friend Dave Thomas; devoted Aunts Christine Nash Cynthia Brown and Janice Epps.
