Obituary for Mary Louise Hubbard
Mary Louise Hubbard was born to the late Otha and Lillie Jones of Burkeville, Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her late husband Robert Hubbard, her sisters; Donna Wilson, Shirley Coleman, Ruth Epps, Martha Branch, and one brother Otha Jr.
Mary worked for Hooton Chocolate and Potters Home Cleaning Services for many years.
She attended school in Nottoway County. Mary was baptized at an early age, under the leadership of her grandfather, Reverend Clifton Vaughan at Yielding Zion Baptist Church in Burkeville, Virginia.
Mary is survived by her three children: Hakim (Tujuana) Hubbard, Larry Hubbard, Belitha (Lisa); fifteen grandchildren, Mary Kena Armah, Takerra Hubbard, Delquana (Shade) Hubbard, Al’fuquan Hubbard, Nifee Hubbard, Ciara Hubbard, Kaisha Allen, Samirah Bowers, Tasha Hubbard, Akbar Hubbard, Tarif Fong, Jameel Fong, Salideen Hubbard, Fatima Hubbard and Reshema Watkins; twenty-four great-grandchildren including Delquan (NuNu) Hubbard, Jamil Hubbard, Aquil Hubbard, Quayon Moore, Zahir Hubbard and Tamir Hubbard; seven great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Carolyn Jean Garnes of Teaneck, New Jersey and her brother, Loyd (Karen) Qawi of Burkeville, Virginia and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
