Obituary for Mary L. Liles
Mrs. Mary Louise Branch Liles was called to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 4, 2015.  Daughter of the late Isreal James and Laura Ernestine Branch, she was born March 6, 1925.
She was educated in Nottoway County Public Schools.  She was baptized at Eleven Oaks Baptist Church and was a faithful member until she moved to New York to seek gainful employment.  While in New York, she became an active member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, Brooklyn, New York.
It was in New York  that she met and married the man of her dreams, Napoleon.  After spending many years in New York, they relocated to Virginia after retirement.  She immediately reunited with the Eleven Oaks church family.  She was active for many years within the Pastor’s Aide Ministry and served a term as president.  She was also much involved with the Women Missionary Auxiliary.
She was an active member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories:  her brother, Edward Milton Branch (Fannie); two nephews; three nieces; a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
