Obituary for Mary Jasper Randolph
Mrs. Mary Jasper Randolph, 94 entered eternal rest and peace in Brooklyn, NY.  She was the only daughter born to the late Anna and Warner Jasper.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Burnis Randolph and two brothers, James Jasper and Ben Jasper.

Mrs. Randolph was a graduate of New York Public and High Schools.  She continued her education at New York University where she studied Radio Announcing.  She was a graduate of Devore Charm School and attended two Radio Announcer's Schools in New York where she was Valedictorian of her class.  She appeared on the Apollo Theater in Harlem, NY and was a recipient of the Gospel Disc Jockey award in 1977 by the Seaboard Broadcasting Company.

She was employed as a former New York City Correctional Officer and retired from the New York Transit System as a railroad Clerk.

She was a very active member of Bethel Baptist Church and served as the Church Clerk, Deaconess, Usher and Editor of Bethel's first newspaper.  She was a past member of the Virginia Club, Dorothy Hurd Club and Order of Eastern Star, Chapter #725.  During her visits to Virginia she attended and was a great supporter of Liberty Baptist Church, Amelia, VA.

Left to cherish her memories and legacy are a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, Liberty Baptist Church Family and Bethel Baptist Church New York Family.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Randolph will be held Friday, June 19 at 11:00 a.m. at Liberty Baptist Church, Amelia.  The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the services.  Interment church cemetery.
