Mary E. Neblett was born March 16, 1925, in Petersburg, Virginia to the union of Richard and Amanda Pegram. She departed this life on January 30th, 2021, at Manor Care Assistant Living Facility in Richmond Virginia. She attended Petersburg Public Schools. She moved to New York where she began crafting her God-given gift in music. She received many awards from Friends of Music for High School Pupils of New York City and The Bureau of Music. In 1974, she was joined in holy matrimony to Archer Melvin Wilkins. While living in New York she was the First Lady for the First Siania Baptist Church and then moving to Virginia she was the First Lady for Zion Hill Baptist Church in Victoria Virginia. Upon the death of Pastor Archer Wilkins, she married Curtis Neblett.  She continued to be a blessing to so many with her musical talent of playing the piano for many churches in the local area. Even at her current facility, she played the piano for the residence in the living facility. She served with a smile and a pure heart.
