Mrs. Mary Agnes Sweat, age 63 was a native of Amelia, VA. Born March 3, 1944, she was the second child of Jane Lee Archer and James Johnson Archer. She departed her life on Sunday, February 24, 2008 at Retreat Medical Center in Richmond, VA. She resided in Chester, VA.She was unemployed, but had a superb expertise for a home cleaning service. Mary excelled at her part-time interest, and has met a remarkable group of friends and clientele from her strides.Her widow Thomas resides in Richmond, VA. They have been in Virginia for approximately thirteen years and had started their journey here in Amelia from New York.She leaves to cherish her memories: her loving widow Thomas; two daughters Joanna of Richmond, VA and Shavie of Bronx, NY; six sisters and brothers, Alice Lou, Steven, Janice, Ronnie, David Lee and Pam all of New York; sisters-in-law, Lula, Emily, Alice and Tammy; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and all of her cousins.Viewing will only be Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. from Michael Hawkes Funeral Home Chapel, Amelia with private burial.Michael W.
