Martha Ann Dagner, also known as Sue, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 5, 2009 at her home in Blackstone, VA. She was born in Nottoway County on March 31, 1956 to the union of Gussie Lee and Rosa Lee Dagner.
Martha attended Nottoway County public schools. She was a devoted mother and friend. She was employed by Home Aid, Inc. as a CNA and served well over ten years.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Rosa Dagner. She leaves to cherish precious and loving memories: her father, Gussie Lee Dagner; three daughters, Denise, Jennifer and Tasha Dagner, all of Blackstone, VA; one son, Bradley Dagner; four sisters, Sandra Dagner of New York, Carolyn (Archie) Robinson of Petersburg, VA, Pamela Dagner and Barbara Dagner of Blackstone, VA; six brothers, Gussie Jr. of Petersburg, VA, Larry (Jena) Dagner of Pittsburg, PA, Thomas (Joyce) Dagner of Landover, MD, Bernard (Donna) Dagner of Victoria, VA, Carl Dagner and Charles Dagner of Blackstone, VA; seven grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends (one devoted friend, Katina Neal).
Funeral Services Saturday, April 11, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Sprng Hill Baptist Church, Blackstone with interment in the church cemetery.
