Marquise Devon Barbour, son of Claude M. Bland and Andrel M. Barbour was born March 17, 1994. Our Angel was awarded hi wings on Saturday, December 24, 2016 in Amelia County.
Marquise was preceded in death by his great grandmothers, Estelle Rice and Windsor Barbour; grandfather, Lewis Casper; uncle John Bland; aunt Missie Giles.
Marquise received his education from Amelia County School System. He graduated in 2014. After graduation, he worked various odd jobs with Green Front Furniture being his latest job.
Marquise was a very loving and respectful young man that was loved by everyone that knew him. He would laugh and giggle at everything because he cried enough when he was a baby.
Marquise leaves to cherish his precious memories: his mother, Andrel Barbour; his father, Claude M. Bland; grandfathers, Wallace Johnson and Calvin Rice; grandmothers, Viola Bland and Theresa Casper; one brother Tavon Coleman; one sister Titerria Braxton; step-father, Bruce Coleman; six uncles, Raymond Barbour, Junious (Rosa) Barbour, Eric (Twila) Barbour, Everett Barbour, Robert (Tonya) Bland and Benjamin (Nancy) Bland; five aunts, Sheila (Joseph) Stokes, April (Nelson) Brown, Darlene (Phillip) Pride, Inita (Thomas) Casper and Jessica Jennings; two devoted best friends, Derrick Garnett and Darius Manuel; his girlfriend, Marinda Agee that he adored and truly loved; and a host of cousins and friends.
Funeral Services Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Amelia Baptist Church, Rice with interment in the church cemetery.
