Obituary for Mark A. "Porkie" Paige
Mark Anthony Paige, son of Lillie Paige Diggs and the late Hillary Gregory, Sr. was born October 18, 1966 in Richmond, VA. He departed his life on Wednesday, November 21, 2007.Mark accepted Christ at an early age, was baptized and joined Fourth Mt. Zion Baptist Church.He attended Nottoway Senior High School. Mark worked at Sears Department Store and The Car Pool until his health failed him.He leaves to cherish his memory: one daughter, DeJaune Burrell of Richmond, VA; his mother, Lillie P. Diggs and step-father, Glendon Diggs of Burkeville, VA; four brothers, Charles Wright, Jr. of Cape Coral, FL., Glendon V. Diggs of Atlanta, GA, Garry Gregory and Hillary Gregory, Jr. of Burlington, NJ; a special and devoted cousin/brother, Alan Paige of Crewe, VA; one sister, Denise Wright of Crewe, VA; seven aunts; four uncles; and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral Services will be held Sunday, November 25, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. from Fourth Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Crewe, VA with interment in the Jackson Cemetery, Crewe, VA.W.E. Hawkes & Son Funeral Home of Blackstone in charge of the arrangements.
