Obituary for Louise M. Taylor
Mrs. Louise L. Taylor, age 79 of Blackstone departed this life on March 12, 2013 after a long illness. Daughter of the late Henry and Bessie Mahan, she was born March 11, 1934 in Nottoway County, VA.
Louise joined Shiloh Baptist Church-Dinwiddie and was a faithful member. She served on the Usher Board for several years and was on the Women’s Fellowship Ministry
She was married to Thomas T. Taylor, Sr. of Blackstone, who preceded her in death.  One son was born to this union.
Louise is survived by one son, Thomas T. Taylor, Jr.; four grandsons, Thomas James Taylor, Darrian Taylor, Devin Eppes and Jonathan Eppes; three siblings, Evelyn Blackwell (Thomas) of Petersburg, William H. Mahan of McKenney, and Howard Mahan of Farmville; one aunt, Margaret Mahan of Burkeville; sisters-in-law, Mary Alston of Mt. Vernon, NY, Annie Marie Ward (Haywood) of Mt. Vernon, NY, Lucille Ridley (Samuel) of Washington, DC and Susan Crawley of Dinwiddie; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Shiloh Dinwiddie Baptist Church, Blackstone with interment in the church cemetery.
