Obituary for Louis N. Robertson
LOUIS N. ROBERTSON departed this life on Wednesday, December 17, 2008 in McGuire Veterans Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. He was born on January 18, 1922 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania to Estelle and Waverly Robertson. They both preceded him in death.
Louis received his education in the Nottoway County schools. He was a member of Eleven Oaks Baptist Church in Crewe, Virginia.
On February 27, 1944, Louis was joined in holy matrimony to Verla Robertson and to this union one son was born. Verla preceded him in death.
Louis had been sick for many years. He will always be loved and remembered.
He leaves to mourn: his devoted son, Bryant Glenn Robertson; two brothers, Paul (Martha) and Oakie (Hester), both of Amelia, Virginia; a devoted niece Anne Caroline Joe; a devoted friend and caretaker, Delores Hurtt; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services Saturday, December 20, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Eleven Oaks Baptist Church, Crewe with interment in the Jackson Family Cemetery, Crewe.
