Linda “Gladys” Muse Rogers departed this life on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.
Gladys was born April 23, 1953 to Florida M. Muse and the late James S. Muse. She was the fourth oldest of thirteen children, three preceded her in death: her brothers, James and Jesse and a sister, Doris Muse.

She later moved her membership to the 4th Mt. Zion Baptist Church where she was a member of the Daughters of Zion Women’s Ministry and the E. W. Walker Inspirational Choir.
Gladys worked at Stackpole Carbone of America in Farmville, VA for twenty-five plus years. She retired due to health issues. She also worked at Jenkins Mini Market in Burkeville for over ten years.
To know Gladys, she was a faithful and devoted friend to many especially her former co-workers at Stackpole Carbone of America.
She loved to dance even when she was hurting to her favorite song, “Hole in the Wall”, and cut jokes. She was the life of the party or any gathering. She loved to sing. She was also a member of the “Mothers & Daughters” singing group. She “LOVED” Paparazzi and didn’t mind sporting her “BLING”. She loved her family especially her children and grandchildren. She raised the two oldest, A’Shauna and Azadeia.
