Obituary for Linda Faye Williams
On Saturday, December 28, 2019, God decided to call one of his faithful Angels, Linda Faye Smith Williams home to Glory. Linda was the third child of twelve and was born on July 20, 1957 to John and Jessie Lee Smith.
She accepted Christ at an early age and joined First Baptist Church of Midlothian. She worked as a hostess for many years until she became ill and was forced to retire. Linda was well known by a lot of people.
Linda was preceded in death by her father, John Smith; brothers, Sylvester and Anthony Smith.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories: her daughter, Valley and three grandchildren of Georgia; her mother, Jessie Lee Smith; siblings, Clementine (very devoted, who was by her side day and night) and Pompay Bailey, John Smith (Diane), Teresa Copeland Hill (John), Jessielean Smith; Christine Phillips (Hollis), Felicia Brown (Arto), Paul Howard (Lynna), Jan Smith and Lee Johnny Howard (Michelle); Garald Johnson, a very devoted roommate and friend that helped take care of her while she was in the hospital; other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, January 10, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Midlothian, 13800 Westfield Rd., Midlothian, VA 23113. Interment private.
