After a long illness, Leon Trent Hill, Sr. went home to be with the LORD on Monday, September 25, 2023. He was born to the late James A. Hill and Margaret Ann Hill on February 8, 1950. He attended Russell Grove High School in Amelia, Virginia. He married Mary Robinson and together they had 8 wonderful children. They spend many years in the house of the LORD and they loved the LORD!
Leon had a great love for his children and grandchildren. And he loved and cared for each one of them. He always had a smile on his face. He also was an example for young men and was a dedicated husband who took care of his FAMILY!
Leon was a working man and he worked hard to take care of them. He worked for Philp Morris Company, Miller Manufacture Company, Inc., Holiday Inn, Brandermill Inn and then retired from the Chesterfield County public School after 18 years.
He leaves to cherish his memory: His wife, Mary Robinson Hill; His 8 children, Leon Trent Hill, Jr., Colita Victoria Hill, Carlton Hill (Karen), Thessala Anne Hill, Timothy L. Hill, Cornelious S. Hill (Ashley) Ecclesia Hill, Eunice Hill; 20 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 1 sister, Charlotte Henderson (Lonnie); 3 brothers, Pastor Bernard S. Hill, Sr. (Consuella Evan), Pastor Lorenza Hill, Deacon James Hill (Florence), and 3 Sisters-in-law, Hattie Hill, Matilda A. Shivers, and Daisey R. Scott; and brothers-in-law, Pastor Luke J. Robinson, Deacon Frank J. Robinson, Jr. and Alexander S. Robinson; and a host of relative and friends too numerous to list. He leaves a special and loyal friend, Elder Emment Furrell. He was predeceased by his brother, Floyd Hill.
