Obituary for Lawrence I. Bailey
Lawrence Irvin Bailey was born September 12, 1945 to the late Thelma Patterson and Irvin Bailey.

Lawrence joined church at an early age. He enjoyed being a member of the Usher Board at Second Antioch Baptist Church and he especially enjoyed participating in Family and Friends day.

Lawrence loved working on old cars, going to car shows, rodeos, cutting grass, and most of all helping others.

Lawrence shared his love of cars with his great grandson "Moo Moo" (Kash) who always had special toy cars to show him.

Lawrence Irvin Bailey departed life on August 8, 2022. He was preceded in death by his mother Thelma Patterson, father Irvin Bailey, and daughter Anjanette Bailey.

Lawrence leaves to cherish his memories: his wife Betty Bailey; son Andrè Bailey (Cathy); two granddaughters Tomara Hall and Ashley Sheff; one grandson Demond Sheff; five great grandchildren Kash, Malakhi, Makarius, Makhiya and Daekwon; two brothers; two sisters; two sister in laws; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Viewing Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Second Antoich Baptist Church, Powhatan from 12:30 PM until time of service at 1:00PM. Interment church cemetery.
