Obituary for LaFonda R. Eppes
Ms. LaFonda Rachele Eppes, 39 of Crewe Virginia, departed this life suddenly on Saturday July 17, 2021 at VCU Medical Center, Richmond, Virginia. She was the Daughter of Vincent and Minister Mary Anderson and the Granddaughter of Carrie and Roscoe Anderson.
Fonda was a loving and caring Mother to her three children, Keiontra (Lucy), Dar’rik (Reek), and Darriel (Mane); and a very special Nana to her Grandson Da’Khari (Tootie).
LaFonda graduated from Nottoway High School in the class of 1999. In 2013, she completed the CNA program at Southside Virginia Community College, where she was recognized as a model student, obtaining numerous awards and recognitions. She worked as a CNA at Brandermill and Amelia Nursing Homes upon completing her degree. In 2017, LaFonda graduated with High Honors from Virginia College, receiving her Associates Degree of Applied Science in Medical Office Administration. Upon graduating, LaFonda became employed as a Patient Account Coordinator for Cenevia, in Richmond, VA where she was currently employed.
In addition to her professional career, LaFonda loved to cook for everyone. She loved to laugh, loved music, she was a shoe fanatic, and she loved jewelry. LaFonda loved to keep her nails, feet and hair done and she loved to ride and just enjoy life. She was her kids best friend and she absolutely loved her Grandson.
