Obituary for Kyasia J. Hill
Kyasia Janaé Hill departed this life suddenly on Saturday, July 31, 2021. She was born on December 29, 2003, to LaKeisha Booker Parrish and Leon Trent Hill, Jr. in Richmond, Virginia.
Kyasia was a rising senior at Nottoway High with anticipation of graduating in the class of 2022. As a baby, she was dedicated to Christ and as a youth she accepted Christ as her personal Saviour and was baptized on October 2, 2016. At Mount Level during her Christian journey, she attended Sunday School regularly, she was a member of the Youth Ministry, the Youth Ushers Ministry, and a Praise Dancer.
Kyasia was well known in her community as “KyKy”. She was known for her bright contagious smile, loving heart and her sweet personal characteristics that made her so unique. Before becoming an employee, Kyasia was a volunteer at Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Blackstone and later became an employee of that establishment. She was a die-hard Dallas Cowboy fan and enjoyed the defeat in playing her favorite Uno card game with her Auntie DeeDee.
Kyasia leaves her precious and loving memories to her mother, LaKeisha Parrish (Daniel); father, Leon Hill, Jr.; sister, Kiona Parrish; grandparents, Margaret & James Booker, Sr. & Mary and Leon Hill, Sr.; second mom, Auntie DeeDee; godparents, Joseph Royal, Jr. & Shante Owens; godsister, A’Shantia Royal & godbrother, Joseph Royal III; one niece & one nephew, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins & friends. Devoted friends, Kenyada Bassfield & Tamara Parrish; devoted siblings, LaQuazia Trent, D’Jameria Parrish, Daniel Parrish III, Jazmira Parrish; devoted cousins, Rodriquez Booker-Walker; Journee Hill & Tynia Hill; devoted uncle, Tyrone Fuller.
