Kenneth M. Woodson, son of the late Richard and Martha Woodson, was born on August 22, 1960 in Baltimore, MD. He made the transition from Earth to Heaven early on Sunday morning, September 11, 2022.
Kenny, as he was affectionately known, completed his educational studies in 1980 at Maryland School for the Blind, a private campus located in Baltimore, MD.
There is no 9 to 5 employment history for Kenny, however, he worked at home with an unforgettable passion.
Kenny loved to cook, keep a clean house, definitely keep a clean car, “trash talk” and entertain-all of which he did exceptionally well - Every day. Additionally, he fulfilled his roles as a loving son, grandson, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, cousin, buddy, and friend.
In recent years, Kenny moved to his second home in Virginia where he continued to do the things he loved.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers: Richard Sr, Carl, and Samuel.
Kenny leaves to mourn an abundance of devoted family: four nieces: Concetta Janeen, Tanisha (Corey), Carletta, and Jeanette; two nephews: Jermaine (Sameka) and Richard Jr. Six great-nieces: Jarae, Calea, Jaela, Jorden, Alia, and Jaclyn; eight great-nephews: Daquan, Demetrius, Jermaine Jr., Charlie, Jacoby, Tyson, Maddox and Phoenix; two great great-nieces: Makayla and Honor and two great great-nephews: Loyal and Tayden. Two sisters-in-law: Rosetta and Geneva (Richard); one aunt, Martha Stewart; two uncles, Harry J. Goings and Marshall L. Townes (Barbara): his God sister, Alicia Anthony (Mark); his God brother, Allen Mitchell (Joann): his special cousins, and a host of other relatives, friends, and extended family.

Memorial Service: Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 11am at W. E. Hawkes & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Blackstone, VA.
Interment: Private
