Quietly, God called Juan home on June 22, 2008 from the residents of Amelia Nursing Home.
Time To Plant And Pluck
Juan was educated in Amelia County Public Schools and graduated in 1983. Juan furthered his education at Woodrow Wilson Vocational Center. He was employed at GBC Manufacturer for several years until his health failed. Juan moved to Henrico County to live in Holly Brook Assistance living facility and he made numerous friends.
Time To Embrace
Juan was baptized at an early age at Promise Land Baptist Church. Due to his health he was unable to keep up his membership, however, this did not waiver his FAITH.
Time To Weep And A Time To Mourn
Juan leaves fond memories to all who met and knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mary J. Hill and sister, Annie Mae Scott-Jones. Those left to cherish his legacy of fond loving memories are his devoted sister Gloria (Ernest) Thompson of Amelia, VA; brother LeRoy Bailey of Richmond, VA; sister Valerie (Steven) Foster of Norfolk, VA; sister-in-law Tammy Snead of Richmond, VA; four step-sisters Reverend Alice S. Tyler, Margie (Pete) Owens, Gladys Person and Helen Royall, all of Amelia, VA; nieces and nephews, Brandon, Kaydee, Devonte’, Tomesha, India, Tyler and Ashley; a host of aunts, uncles, other relative and friends, and among those are devoted friends, Gwen, James, Mom and Ella of Holly Brook Assistance; Ruth Finch and William Owens, devoted phone buddies.
Funeral Services Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Michael W. Hawkes Funeral Home, Amelia, VA with private burial.
