Brother Johnnie Hill departed his earthly life on Monday, November 18, 2024. He was born on November 19, 1943 to Agnes “Peggy” Lee Hill.
Brother Johnnie was baptized on February 24, 1996. He joined House of Prayer Worship Center on March 17, 1996 where he later received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Brother Johnnie served faithfully as a member of the Usher Board, Finance Committee and the Men’s Prayer Breakfast. He also kept the grass at House of Prayer Worship Center cut every other week.
Brother Johnnie worked for and retired from Nottoway Lumber Company
Brother Johnnie was preceded in death by his mother. He is survived by two daughters, Brenda (Albert) Terry and Jacqueline (Vernant) Campbell; grandchildren, Brittany, Briana, Mahogany, Malcolm, De’John Bassett and JaVonn Harris; great grandchildren, Zaiden Bassett, Zariyah Bassett, Lennyx Hodges and Jasinn Hodges; other relatives and family.
