John William Tee, son of the late Edward and Lady Tee was born on January 24, 1937 in Dinwiddie County. He departed this life suddenly on May 26, 2016 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond, VA.Â
 John was baptized at an early age and joined Eleven Oaks Baptist Church in Crewe, VA.
 John was preceded in death by his five brothers, Henry Tee, James Tee, Alex Tee, Randolph Tee and Woodrow Tee; four sisters, Rosa Epps, Alice Tee, Gertrude Black and Florence Goings. He leaves to cherish his memory: two loving sisters, Josephine Campbell of Blackstone, VA and Carrie Tucker of Atlanta, GA; nephews, Robert Campbell, Calvin Tee, Collin Campbell, Jerry Tee, Lawrence Campbell, Calvin Goings, Jr., Alonzo Tucker, Edward Tee and Phillip Tee; nieces, Glenda Derricott, Vanessa Tee-Coles, Virginia Morgan, Joyce Tucker, Kathleen Neal, Patricia Tee, Harriet Hines and Florence Boswell; godchildren, Salli Washington, DeShawn Fowlkes, LaWanda Fowlkes, RoKeisha Henderson and Niayla Henderson; and a host of cousins and friends.
