God in His infinite wisdom dispatched His angels to claim the soul of our loved one, John William Royall on the early hours of January 23, 2025. John was the third child born to the late Deacon Thomas and Ruth Pitchford Royall on April 3, 1943 in Jetersville, VA.
John attended school in Amelia county and graduated from Russell Grove High School in 1962. He was employed at Piedmont Geriatric Hospital retiring after 25 years of service as a dietary chef.

Other days you could find him working at Amelia Springs up to the time of his passing he was still helping others. John was well known in the area and was always helping family and friends.
You could count on a delicious care package when visiting of canned vegetables and his famous chili and chow chow. John loved to cook and when visiting was guaranteed something delightful to eat.
