Joe Huff was born on June 24, 1947, to the late Joe and Luvenia Huff in Nottoway, County.

Joe was educated in the Nottoway County School System. He was preceded in death by two siblings, Josephine Woodson and Virgie Yates.
A Time to Embrace
At an early age he began his Christian walk at Cellar Creek Baptist Church.
A Time to Build Up
Joe had one daughter JoAnn Coles. Joe loved spending time with his family, he loved outside, he was an avid reader of the Blackstone Courier Record, he loved sharing jokes and he loved fellowshipping with others (He never met a stranger). He was employed with Levi Strauss, Titmus Optical, Patterson Lumber Company, and Taylor Ramsey Lumber Company.
A Time to Mourn
It was late Saturday night, September 18, 2021, when Joe quietly and peacefully answered God’s call to come home at Bon Secours St. Francis Medical Center in Midlothian, Virginia.
A Time to Weep and A time to Laugh
Joe leaves to celebrate and thank God for his beautiful life: one daughter JoAnn Coles (Leroy) of Williamsburg, Virginia, two granddaughters Kimberly Coles-Taft (Josh) of Williamsburg, Virginia; LeAnne Coles of Wilmington, Delaware; one great granddaughter Moriyah Taft of Williamsburg, Virginia one brother Amos Huff of Ford, Virginia; two sisters Clara Evans (Melvin); Ethel Wright both of Blackstone, Virginia; one devoted niece Delphine Yates of Blackstone, Virginia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
