Obituary for Jibril Eramias Utsey
God granted us with an angel by the name of Jibril Eramias Utsey on October 20, 2021, as a precious gift to his parents Rashad Utsey and Dasha Dagner.
On January 1, 2023, Master Jibril Eramias Utsey, surrounded by family at MCV Hospital in Richmond, Virginia heard the trumpet around 5:17 p.m., place his hand in God’s hand and his spirit moved from his earthy body into eternal sleep.
Although our time with him was cut short, our hearts will forever be filled with joy and honor because we were able to be graced with his beautiful presence. Jibril was deeply loved and bought immense joy to those around him.
He loved Gracie’s corner, music, smiling, playing, dancing, and laughing with his devoted mother, devoted aunt/second mom (Shani), and family.
