Obituary for Jesse P. Tucker
Jesse Tucker was born September 12, 1934 to the proud parents of Alvin and Maggie Tucker in Hopewell, Virginia.

Jesse attended school in Nottoway County, Virginia. He joined Springhill Baptist Church at a young age. He joined the military, married and relocated to Chicago where he was employed and retired from the Chicago Transit Authority.

After retiring from CTA, he returned and resided in Blackstone, Virginia. He worked as a custodial worker for Nottoway County. He served as a Trustee and an Usher at Springhill Baptist Church for many, many years.

He departed this life on December 11, 2021.

His legacy and loving memory will forever live on in his loving wife, Virginia Tucker; children, Michael, Debra and Keith; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; countless other close relatives, acquaintances and friends.

Viewing will be held Friday, December 17, 2021 from 12 to 7PM.

Funeral Services Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 12:00 Noon at Springhill Baptist Church, Blsckstone. Interment church cemetery.
