Obituary for Jerry Allen Dance

Quick and sudden came the call. God is giving us strength to face the sudden death that surprised us all, as well as courage to bear the blow of his loss. What it meant to lose him none but God will ever know.

Jerry Allen Dance departed this life to enter into God’s eternal rest on Monday, August 29th, 2022 at Henrico Doctors in Richmond, Virginia. Jerry was born on December 18, 1977 in Richmond to David Dance and Marie Lawson. He attended and graduated from Nottoway County Public Schools. After graduation, Jerry joined the Virginia Army National Guard and served until his honorable discharge in March 1999. He enjoyed painting from acrylic to pen and ink. He was a genuine artist. Jerry attended many art shows displaying and selling his work, such as the 2nd Sundays Arts and Crafts in Williamsburg. Also, various paintings of Jerry’s artwork have been on display at banks and museums.
