Obituary for JaQuan Hakeem Allen
Born to Malessia P. Allen on November 21, 1991, JaQuan Hakeem Allen graced the world with his presence at MCV Hospital in Richmond, VA. He departed this life on Sunday, February 14, 2021 in Newport News, VA.
JaQuan attended Nottoway High School in 2009, from there he went to Job Corp in Marion, VA where he received his General Education Diploma. He then went on to SVCC where he studied HVAC and Diesel Mechanic.
Later in life, he ventured to Newport News, VA with his uncle, where he met a host of friends, who then became his extended family. JaQuan Hakeem Allen was cherished by all who knew him. There was never a dull moment.
JaQuan had a passion for football and was known for his love for the Washington Redskins. He played football and basketball in the little league. If you were blessed to know him, you would then know how forgiving, caring and loving he truly was. He loved his family whole heartedly.
He leaves to cherish so many wonderful memories: his mom, Malessia (Timothy); his sisters, Daizha and Tamiah (whom he considered his twin); his grandmother, Marian (AtAt); his aunt, Iesha (Esh); his uncle, Teon, whom he affectionately called Unc; and a host of great aunts, great uncle and several cousins.
You gave no one a last farewell,
Nor even said goodbye.
You were gone before we knew it,
And only God knows why
The blow was hard, the shock was severe,
we never thought your death was near.
But only those who have lost can tell.
The pain of parting without farewell.
