Obituary for Jane B. Ruffin
Jane B. Ruffin entered eternal life on March 4, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wingfield, Mabel and Mary Ruffin; brothers, Milton, John and Gilbert Ruffin; sisters, Sally Smoot and twin, Jean Ruffin.

Jane was educated in the Amelia County School System. She received Christ at an early age and joined Flower Hill Baptist Church, where she remained an active member and sang in the church choir until her illness prevented it.

Jane enjoyed doing and caring for others. She worked in several nursing homes and did private in-home nursing care in Virginia and California.

She leaves to cherish her memories: two sisters, Helen Washington and Ruth Ruffin; one brother, Anthony Ruffin; many nieces and nephews, among them her caregivers, nephew Theron Ruffin and his wife Patricia, niece Cassandra Ruffin; several great and great-great nieces and nephews; a host of cousins and friends.

Funeral Services Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Flower Hill Baptist Church, Amelia. Interment private.
