JAMIE ODELL MCMILLON was born on November 7, 1982 to Charlie and Patricia McMillon. He departed this life on July 21, 2011.
JAMIE attended Nottoway High School where he participated in football and track where he still holds the record at state for 300m hurdles. Jamie was baptized at age fifteen and joined the Mt. Nebo Baptist Church where he sang in the choir.
JAMIE shared his life with many friends and family members who’s lives he helped to change.
JAMIE was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia McMillon but leaves to cherish his memories: his only daughter, Ja’lai McMillon; his father, Charlie Odell McMillon; two brothers, Tommy Elem and Clarence Harris; his grandparents, Richard and Julia Harris, Sr.; grandmother, Lillian McMillon; two aunts, Tilda (Jimmy) Chalkey and LaShawn (Gus) Blackwell; seven uncles Richard (Donna) Harris, Jr., Michael Harris, Maxie (Bernice) Harris, Ricky (Arletta) Harris, Theodore McMillon, Alphonso McMillon and John Harold; five aunts, Diane (Frank) Fowlkes, Dorothy (Jack) Banks, Shirley McMillon, Sandy McMillon and Carol McMillon; six nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins and friends.
Funeral Services Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 12:00 noon at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church, Blackstone with private burial.
