Obituary for James E. Agurs
James E. Agurs was born May 19, 1950 in Rock Hill, SC and entered into eternal rest and peace on December 4, 2019.

James attended Nottoway County public schools. He worked and retired as a construction worker. He was a “Go Hard” Dallas Cowboy fan. He enjoyed partying and playing spades.
James was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Agurs; his sister, Lillie Mae Morgan; and son David Agurs.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his daughters, devoted Melissa Agurs (Darryl), Jacqueline Baylor (John) and Shantelle Richardson; sons, James E. Richardson and Edward Agurs; a host of grandchildren, relatives and friends.

Funeral Services Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at W.E. Hawkes & Son Funeral Home, Blackstone. Interment Greenview Cemetery, Blackstone.
