Obituary for James A. Foster, III
James Alfred Foster III (Jay-Tee) was born on Tuesday, July 16, 2002 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond, Virginia to a loving family. James was educated in the City of Richmond and the Henrico County School Systems. He is a 2020 Graduate of Henrico High School, where some of his teachers referred to him as a Gentle Giant. Jay-Tee always enjoyed time with his family and attended church at the Chester Grove Baptist Church in Amelia, Virginia. In addition, he made time for his favorite football team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, he was an avid gamer and loved pizza. Jay-Tee had an interest in automobiles and Diesel Mechanics. He had aspirations to be a business entrepreneur and to travel. He was a member of the Knights of Pythagoras W.L. Ransome #1.

Jay-Tee entered eternal rest on Friday, April 30, 2021 in the company of his family. His loving and caring nature and infectious smile will truly be missed. He is survived by his loving parents, James Foster Jr. and Cheryl Love-Foster, both of Richmond, Virginia. His grandparents, McCoy and Florence Taylor of Richmond, Virginia and James and Valorie Foster of Amelia, Virginia. A caring and loving Aunt Tera Foster and Cousins Skye’ and Eric Royal, all of Dinwiddie, Virginia with who he formed a special bond. His Aunt and Uncle Denise James and Craige Devaughn and his sweet cousin Hadiyah of Dayton, OH. Aunt and Uncle Mia and Mark Kern and cousins Julianna, Brieanna and Hunter of Apopka, FL. In addition, he is survived by his very best friend, Dakari Reinhardt of Richmond, Virginia, whom he referred to as his brother. He is survived by a host of other loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Graveside service Monday, May 10, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Chester Grove Baptist Church, 12535 Fowlkes Bridge Rd., Amelia, VA. Viewing at the graveside one hour prior to service.
