Mr. Jamel Rasheed Tucker of Louisville, KY, entered into eternal rest on November 7, 2022. Jamel was born on December 15, 1981 in Parris Island, SC. to Sabrina Washington and William Tucker, Jr.
Jamel attended Arundel High School in Gambrills, Maryland and Sullivan School of Technology and Design in Louisville, KY. Jamel worked as a machinist for Royal Consumer Products and was an avid fan of the Washington Commanders Football Team aka Washington Redskins. Jamel liked to body build, and he loved a good debate. He maintained a tough exterior; however, internally, he was one of the most loving people you could meet. He always ended a call with "I love you."
As a young man life responsibilities were instilled in him through the love of his mother. He was a young man who took pride in watching over his siblings. He sincerely loved all of his family and his desire was for everyone to be uplifted. On November 8, 2014, Jamel earned the title and the honor of becoming a father to Jaylyne Washington, and vowed to be the best father that he could possibly be. Jaylyne became the love of his life.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sabrina Washington; and brothers Matthew Pullan and Aaron Pullan; and a cousin Ann Neal whom he affectionately called Aunt Ann.
Jamel leaves to cherish his memories his daughter, Jaylyne Walker of Shepherdsville, KY; siblings, Sharida (Philippe) Jackson of Minot, ND, Kymberley Washington of Takoma, MD, Kanessa Pullan of Gooding, ID, and Kendall Tucker of Shepherdsville, KY; grandparents, William (Thelma) Tucker, Sr.; uncles, Eric Tucker, Sr, Jerome McClain, George McClain, Ernest McClain; aunts, Yvette McClain, Ramona Tucker; great-uncle, Aubrey Pitts, Sr., James (Lillian) Tucker; great-aunts, Virginia Pitts, Mary Goode, Fannie Jackson, Elsie Gholson, Jacqueline (McCarthy) Downs, Zelda Tucker-Dugger, Lottie K.
