Obituary for Jack Jr. Jones
Sadly, on September 22, 2011, God took one of his angels home.  JACK JONES, JR. “JUKE” was born September 18, 1944 in Ammons, VA to the late Pearline Jones and Jack Jones, Sr.
Jack was educated in Amelia County, VA.  He joined and was baptized at Mount Level Baptist Church in  Amelia, VA at an early age.  He later joined his wife at Shiloh Baptist Church in Blackstone, VA where he served as an usher.
Jack was employed as a Forklift Driver for nineteen years at Alleghany Warehouse in Chesterfield, VA and Shoosmith Brothers in Chester until he retired in 2002.
Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, David Vaughan and three sisters, Louise, Edith and Thelma. 
He leaves to cherish precious memories:  his wonderful, loving and devoted wife of twenty-six years, Sandra Tucker Jones; devoted children, Nelson Vaughan, Waverly Vaughan (Cynthia), Carolyn Stokes (Leroy), Pamela Vaughan, Brian Patrick (Cassie), Jack Jones III, Kevin Tucker, Angela Scott, Christine Elder, Albert Lee Vaughan and Sharon Booker (Robert); his sisters, Ella Mae Booker, Hattie Hill (Floyd), Pearlanne Edmonds (Williard), Julia “Bunny” Stokes (Phillip), Rosa Royal (Joseph) and Margaret Booker (James); his brothers, James Jones, Frank Jones (Effie), Thomas Jones (Sarah) and Calvin; sisters-in-law, Mildred Tucker, Carolyn Jackson (Henry), Shirley Blackwell Holmes and Regina Johnson (Maurice); brother-in-law, Alfred Tucker; one aunt, Rebecca Johnson of Richmond, VA; twenty-six grandchildren, Shantera, Daman, Abjula, Carnika, Vacheal, Shakita, Davidka, Jaykel, Kayla, Nelson Jr., Keyona, Kevin Jr., Christopher, Kiana, Jaiden, Diallo, JaKayla, Janiyah, Jennifer, Tarnise, Travis, Derek, Ronnie, Antwan, Andre and Allie; a host of great grandchildren; nieces; two devoted nephews, Robert Booker and Aloysuise “Peanut” Royal; and a host of nephews, cousins and many other relatives and friends.
The family will visit with friends on Wednesday, September 28 at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m
Funeral Services Thursday, September 29, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church, Blackstone with interment in the Greenview Cemetery, Blackstone.
