Obituary for Irene Dagner
On Saturday morning, April 4, 2009, Miss Irene Dagner entered into eternal rest at Southside Community Hospital in Farmville, VA. Daughter of the late Frank and Maggie Dagner, she was born January 20, 1921. She was a member of Cellar Creek Baptist Church. Irene was a loving caregiver to the children in the community, and they still love her. She loved to cook and sew. Irene was predeceased by a sister, Annie Mae Yates and three brothers, John, Robert and Walter Dagner. She leaves to cherish her loving memories: one brother, Gussie Dagner of Blackstone, VA; a host of nieces (one devoted, Laura Johnson), nephews (two devoted Richard and his wife Glenda, and Thomas and his wife Vergie), cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Cellar Creek Baptist Church, Blackstone with interment in the church cemetery.
