Obituary for Hattie M. Jefferson
Hattie M. Jefferson departed this life on January 2, 2013 at Retreat Hospital in Richmond, Virginia.  Hattie, the youngest daughter of the late Charles and Finetta McGee was born on August 10, 1921.
She accepted Christ at an early age and was recognized by Union Branch Baptist Church for her faithful service until her health failed.  Hattie enjoyed reading, and her specialty was frying chicken for her daughter Ann.
Hattie leaves to cherish her memories:  a devoted daughter, Ann McGee; a loving sister, Ola M. Holmes; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and devoted caregivers of Envoy Nursing Home.
Funeral Services Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Michael W. Hawkes Funeral Home Chapel, Amelia with interment in the Union Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, Amelia.
