Obituary for Harvey Lee Marshall
Behold, I stand at the door and knock Revelation 3:20 Harvey Lee Marshall entered into eternal rest on Saturday, February 9, 2008 at 9:35 p.m. at MCV Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia. Harvey was born on August 22, 1957 in Farmville, Virginia to Florence E. Marshall. He joined Jones R.Z.U.A. Church at an early age. Harvey attended and graduated from Nottoway High School on June 6, 1978. Harvey served in the United States Army. In 1996, he completed truck driving school. He was preceded in death by his mother Florence Lampkin, stepfather Frank Lampkin, and sister Barbara Marshall. Harvey leaves to mourn: his wife Fannie T. Marshall; two children, Harvey Lee Marshall, Jr. and Taketa Marshall of Chicago; three stepchildren, Esmer, Torrey and Dominique Henderson of Blackstone, Virginia; adopted daughter, Avis Moore of Kenbridge, Virginia; four grandchildren, Anizha, Breoni and Zaliyah Henderson and Naya Moore; one sister, Catherine (Henry) Reagan; mother-in-law, Alberta Henderson; one aunt, Pauline Marshall; six brothers-in-law; six sisters-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 16, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. from Commandment Apostolic Faith Worship Center in Blackstone, interment in Greenview Cemetery, Blackstone.W.E. Hawkes & Son Funeral Home, Blackstone in charge of arrangements.
