Obituary for Georgia Booker Cousin
Georgia Booker Cousin departed her earthly life peacefully on Saturday, December 25, 2021. She was born to the late Ford Booker and Agnes.

Georgia affectionally called “Mama” could be found sitting in her recliner watching the stories, in the kitchen cooking a meal, or keeping up with her family over the phone. She was loved by everyone she encountered and was the glue of this family. “Mama” lived a long, joyous life and was full of energy until her last days.

She was preceded in death by her late husband, James Cousin Sr., and her children, Laura Ann Hill and Nathaniel Lee Booker.

She leaves to cherish her memory: two daughters; Christine Royal (Paul) and Ella Mae Mohammed, three sons, William Booker; James Cousin Jr (Janet), and Jessie Cousin (Gwen) all of Amelia, VA; fifteen grandchildren, one devoted Bonnie Edmonds; thirty-six great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.

Viewing Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 12 to 7PM. Funeral Service Friday, December 31, 2021 at 1:00PM at Amelia County High School, Amelai. Interment Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, Jetersville.
