Obituary for Frank B. Watson, Jr.
Mr. Frank “Studebaker” Benjamin Watson, Jr. was born to Hattie Love Watson and Frank Watson, Sr. on August 30, 1941.
Frank was raised in Jetersville, VA along with his four siblings, Argie, Maude, Geneva and Mickie.
Frank was married to Julia Brown Watson who preceded him in death on June 18, 2014. Frank was blessed to have three sons, Frankie (Muriel), Bernard (Loraine) and Jerry Brown; a daughter, Carolyn Watson and a bonus daughter, Shelia Brown. He was fortunate to have eight grandchildren, Jeremy, Jermaine, JaKeia, Torren, Frankie Jr., Brittany, Gayla and Arshae; a host of great grandkids; six great-great grandkids; a multitude of nieces, one devoted Shirley Jones who went above and beyond for him; nephews and great nieces.
To describe Frank is to smile, he was the biggest flirt with the ladies and a gentle giant to children. To know him was to love him.
Frank “Studebaker” lived his life on his terms regardless to what anyone thought or said. Throughout all of his years he gained many friends and will truly be missed.
