Frances Parrish entered this world on April 11, 1951. Frances worked for a while as a CNA but felt her true calling was cooking. She worked every job imaginable in the food industry, from managerial to cook, feeling the most comfortable behind a grill or a stove.
You could always find something cooking on the stove, often hosting gatherings and cookouts at her home for any occasion and no occasion at all, just content to be feeding people, telling and listening to stories.
When she wasn’t cooking she loved to fish preferring her “cane pole” to a rod and reel. She could often catch the same number of fish if not more with just worms and a cane pole. Frances was content to fish all day. Frances walk with the LORD was more private than public often reaching out to HIM in the privacy of her own home for comfort, mercy and grace.
Frances was called home on June 12, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Nannie (Estelle) Parrish, her brother Thomas Jr., Joseph, and Walter, and her sisters Yvonne and Naomi. She leaves treasured memories for her children Kenneth (Vikki), Twila (Eric Sr.) and Catina (Kenneth). Their Children Joshua, Kenneth Jr (Kiera), Angelyque (Alvin), Reggie, Victor, Eric Jr, Theron, Zemaria and Jeremiah. Three children she raised as her own Tyrite, Casey, and Benjiman. Her sisters Annie(Leroy), Brenda, and brothers Danny (Loretta(deceased)), Leroy(Phyllis) and Curtis, her good friend Pearl and grandchildren, family and friends.
