Obituary for Frances L. Bland
Frances Lucille Bland, was born December 11, 1929  to Henry and Berta Johnson and she departed this life on Monday, February 29, 2016.
Frances confessed Christ as her Savior at an early age, was baptized and became a life-long member of Amelia Baptist Church.  She attended Russell Grove School.
Frances worked as a CNA at Piedmont Geriatric Hospital for twenty-seven years.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Berta Johnson;  a sister, Ola Mae Booker; her husband, Izier Bland; and a son, Ricky Bland.  She is survived by three sons, Gerald (Martha) Bland, Garland (Gail) Bland and Robert Bland; one daughter, Frances (Tony) Plummer; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Amelia Baptist Church, Amelia with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
