Obituary for Frances D. Norman
Frances Marie Davis Norman departed this life on September 30, 2015. She was born to the late Bettie Gregory Wallace on December 24, 1949, and was raised by the late Harriett and Linwood Davis in Blackstone, Virginia. She was baptized at a young age at Mt. Gazerine Baptist Church.Â
Frances was a graduate of Luther H. Foster High School. She earned her Nurse’s Aide Certification from Southside Training Skill Center. She later moved to Richmond, Virginia where she worked diligently at the Medical College of Virginia Hospital before retiring after 20 years.
Frances was a longtime faithful member of Lighthouse Christian Center, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree through Grace Theological Seminary.Â
She was a happy and beloved resident of the Laurels at University Parks Nursing Center where she proudly served as Resident Council President and Bible Study Facilitator.Â
She leaves to cherish her memories her siblings; Christine Easterling, Martha Schwartz, B. J. Fountain (Wil), Carl Wallace, Millie Thompson (Brent), William Wallace (Brenda), Dennis Wallace, Kenneth Davis and Katrina Knight, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
