Obituary for Fletcher E. Bell
On September 18, 1944 Fletcher was born to the late Fletcher Bell and Ruby Dean of Blythewood, S.C.  He departed this life on Wednesday, February 20, 2013, at his home in Crewe, VA. 
Fletcher, lovingly known as Eddie, received his education in Blythewood, S.C. He moved to Baltimore, MD in his early twenties and worked as a heavy equipment operator for Reliable Contractors for many years. While in Maryland, he attended Celebration Church of Columbia, MD (formerly Long Reach Church of God). When he moved to Crewe, VA, he joined First Nottoway Baptist Church.
Fletcher is survived by his loving wife, Annie Bell; 2 sons; Randall (Regina) Bell of Blythewood, S.C., Thurman (Viola) Person of Youngstown, OH; 6 daughters; Ruth Bell, Valerie (Joe) Willis, Bernice McCoy, Ruby Dunifer, Rose (Marcus) Bowie, of Baltimore, MD and  Patricia Bell of Las Vegas, NV, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and in-laws. He had 5 brothers; David Bell (deceased) of Blythewood, S.C., Archie Bell (deceased) of Blythewood, S.C., Larry (Edna) Bell of Blythewood, S.C., and Dale Bell, Springfield, MO; 3 sisters; Ethel White, Cora Johnson of Columbia, S.C.,  & Carolyn (Nathaniel) Poston of Lawton, OK.  He also left behind his best friend and neighbors Mr. & Mrs. Carnell Lewis.
Fletcher loved watching his western movies, and his favorite hymn was “Going To See The King”.
Funeral Services Sunday, February 24, 2013 @ 2:00 p.m. at First Nottoway Baptist Church, Blackstone with interment in the church cemetery.
