Obituary for Felicia Antoinette Hobbs
When this beautiful Rose had come to full bloom in the garden of life, God came and picked it to take her home for himself.
FELICIA ANTIONETTE BROOKS-HOBBS gently passed from this life to everlasting life on Sunday, July 6, 2008 at Southside Community Hospital in Farmville, VA.
She graduated from Nottoway Senior High School in June of 1987. At an early age she accepted Christ and was baptized at Rocky Mt. Baptist Church in Cumberland, VA.
She loved people and she loved and enjoyed her family until the Lord came and called her home. She was always kind and caring with a lot of friends always around her. She always wanted to see people happy. Her family, her son, her nieces and nephews were the joy of her life and she loved and cherished them all the same with a love that had no boundaries.
At the time of her death, she was living in Philadelphia, PA where she was employed as a Psychiatric Aide.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory: her mother, Josephine W. Coleman; father, Sam Brooks; son, Xavier Rashad Crump; husband, Dennis Hobbs; brothers, Samuel Antonio and Tyrone Alan; grandfather, Frank Henry Carter; three nephews, Tyrell, Antonio and Denzell; two nieces, Ireon and Antonia; one great uncle, Nathaniel Wainwright; ten uncles; fifteen aunts; mother-in-law, Linda Hobbs; a host of cousins and friends; the guys that she loved and took care of everyday, Oliver, Dwayne and Mike.
