Obituary for Evary Jr. Johnson
Our devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend, EVARY JOHNSON, JR., affectionately known as “Butch”, suddenly left us on Thursday evening, March 4, 2010, to be with his Father in Heaven. His passing has left a void that can never be filled. He was born June 18, 1955 to Evary Johnson, Sr. and the late Phobie Johnson.
Evary was educated in the Prince Edward County Public School System. At an early age he was baptized and joined the High Rock Baptist Church.
He later was joined in holy matrimony to the late Brenda Watson. He drove the school bus prior to going into construction work. He worked in this capacity for several companies, the last being with Capitol Masonry.
Evary leaves to cherish his memory: a devoted father, Evary Johnson, Sr. of Baltimore, MD; a caring sister, Joan Crawley; niece, Demetria Johnson; nephew, Herbert Crawley, Jr.; great nieces and nephews, DaQuan Johnson, Adashya Crawley, Monay Johnson and Jamarion Crawley; stepsisters, Maryetta and Cora; stepbrothers, Vincent, George, Albert and Terry;a special friend, Marjorie Brown; and a host of aunts, ucles, and cousins.
Funeral Services Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at High Rock Baptist Church, Rice with interment in the church cemetery.
