Eugene Wendell Williams was born on March 1, 1956 to Evelyn Phillips and Buddie Hawkes, Daniel and Viola Williams. He departed this life on Sunday, February 28, 2021 in South Hill, VA. He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Phillipa, Viola and Daniel Williams and his daughter, Tataneshea Green.
Eugene attended Nottoway Senior High School. He was baptized and belonged to Shiloh Baptist Church. He served in the National Guard (B5), owned a lawn service business and was an entrepreneur of many things.
Eugene leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Diana Williams; his siblings, Christine Bennett (twin sister), Clara Lewis, Russell Phillips, Jr., Brenda Carey (Clarence), Dorice Jackson (Arthur), Jerry Phillips (Charlene), Sherry Phillips and LaWanda Rogers; his children, Tabitha Williams, Tracey Boxley (Dwane), Juanita Washington (Jermaine), Akeem Williams, Terrence Stith, Carlos Jordan, Wendy Ward, Melanie Booker (Jody), Antonya Hurt (Antrown) and LaQuesa Bonner; twenty three grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; devoted friend, Jimmy; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
