Eugene Randolph White closed his eyes and went to sleep in death on February 22, 2009.  Eugene was born to the late Baxter and Annie White on July 20, 1946.  Eugene was the youngest of thirteen kids.  Eugene grew up in Blackstone, VA and attended Luther H. Foster High School.
Aftger four years in the service Eugene moved to San Pedro, CA where his two oldest children were born.  Eugene later moved to Long Beach, CA where he met his wife to be, Dana Brown.  Eugene and Dana were united in marriage on November 12, 1977 and to this union two daughters were born.  Eugene moved back to Virginia in 1989 to realize his dream of spending quality time with his mother in her remaining years, before her death in 1990.
Although Eugene never dedicated his life to Jehovah through water baptism, he had a great love for Jehovah.  He often witnessed to his children and family regarding Jehovah, and was most supportive in his familys' service to Jehovah.
Eugene was known for helping people in anyway he could.  He was also known for being a jack-of-all-trades.  His family knew that whatever they needed, Eugene would find a way to fix, solve or make it.  He will truly be missed.
Eugene leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Dane White; four children, Baxter and Lasunda of Long Beach, CA, Carmen and Cameka of the home; four grandchildren, Jonathan, Marcus, Jaylen and Jayda; three step children, Gene Umphry, Teresa and Evangelia of Long Beach, CA; one brother, Humphrey "Dick" White (Paulette) of Loudon, TN; three sisters, Elizebeth Porter (Arthur) of Chicago, IL, Sarah Eppes and Shirley Watkins of Blakstone, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers-in-law.  A special niece, Rose (Puddin) Hayes.
