ELNORA JONES CLARK, daughter of Ella Jane Carter of Ford, VA and Willis Stanley Jones of Blackstone, VA was born March 12, 1940 in Dinwiddie County, VA.
She accepted Christ and joined Jerusalem Baptist Church.
Elnora was preceded in death by her mother, Ella Carter; her father, Willis Jones; sister, Beatrice Edmonds; brother, MacArthur Jones; nephew, Casey Clark.
She is survived by one son, Carlton Clark, Jr. (Cheryl) of Blackstone, VA; two daughters, Charlotte and Melinda Clark, both of Blackstone, VA; two grandsons, Samuel Clark and Dennis Clark; one devoted grandson, Devin Clark; two granddaughters, Demetria Mason and Katrina Jones; two great grandsons, Samarii Fowlkes and Kacey Clark; one sister, Patricia Clark of Wilsons, VA; two brothers, Hollie Carter (Grace) of Washington, DC and Tommy Carter (Carolyn) of Hopewell, VA; one sister-in-law, Barbara Jones of Petersburg, VA; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins, among them a devoted cousin, Shirley Holmes and a devoted friend, Linda Taylor.
Funeral Services Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Jerusalem Baptist Church, Blackstone with interment in the church cemetery.
