Ella Celestine Wright, daughter of the late Woodrow and Sarah Wilson was born May 12, 1938 in Nottoway County, Virginia. She departed this life on Monday, April 9, 2018 in Lynchburg, Virginia.
She joined Mt. Gazerine Baptist Church at an early age. She was a faithful member that worked in the Culinary Ministry until her health failed.
She leaves to cherish her memory: four sisters Thelma Staten of Blackstone, Virginia, Sarah Wilson of Suffolk, Virginia, Mattie Wilson of Richmond, Virginia and Loretha Wilson of Blackstone, Virginia; one brother, Edward Wilson of Richmond, Virginia; a host of nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews; two devoted friends Martha Mae Lee and Shelia Mae Williams; other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Mt. Gazerine Baptist Church, Blackstone. Interment church cemetery.
