He was currently employed by Shoosmith Brothers for fifteen years. He attended Dinwiddie and Nottoway County public schools.
Edward was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas and Bobby Clark. He leaves to cherish in his memory: his loving and devoted wife, Loretta L. Clark of Blackstone, VA; three children, Edward Worsham of Blackstone, VA, Travis Worsham of Roanoke, VA and Stephanie Brooks of Richmond, VA; five adopted children, Ron Lee (Torey) of Buckingham, VA, Harold Jones (Latrice) of Richmond, VA, Shameka Harris (Cedric) of Amelia, VA, Lakea Jones (Kawatta) of Crewe, VA and LaShonda Jones of Blackstone, VA; one brother, Leroy Clark (Barbra) of Petersburg, VA; one sister, Toursia Taylor (Floyd) of McKenney, VA; one aunt, Lettie Morgan (Harvey) of Ford, VA; one uncle, Phil Johnson of Petersburg, VA; mother-in-law, Vivian Lee of Burkeville, VA; twenty grandchildren; eight sisters-in-law; six brothers-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, among those he had three devoted friends, Purnell Jones (Judy), Jack Jones (Sandra) and Robert Hardy (Barbra).
Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 4, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at Hawkes Funeral Home Chapel, Blackstone with interment in the Greenview Cemetery, Blackstone, VA.
