Obituary for Dwayne A. Oliver
Dwayne Aaron Oliver, 41 gained his wings at Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia on August 8, 2020. He was born on September 7, 1978 to Rosa B. Oliver.
Until his health failed, he held many jobs including construction and electrician assistant. Dwayne has the most infectious laugh, if you ever met him you would never forget it.
Dwayne was an avid wrestling fan and he also loved his old school music. There was never a dull moment with this young man. His life was all about his one and only daughter Zykia and his wife he affectionately called “Dee”.
Dwayne was preceded in death by his mother, Rosa B. Oliver, and is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Marina Danielle Oliver of Crewe, Virginia; one daughter, Zykia D’Maya Oliver; one loving and devoted sister, Angela D. Oliver of Broadnax, Virginia; two nieces, Takera Stevenson and Quashauna Moore; four nephews, Kwaman Stevenson, James Wallace, Christafa Wallace and Danta Jackson; two great nieces, Serenity Stevenson and Kahlani Royal; his mother-in-law, Rose Williams (Albert) of Crewe, Virginia; cousins, Patrick William Moore, Mae Bullock, Lesia Daniel and Merry Bullock who were like his sisters and a brother; devoted friend, Antonio Lawrence who was there until the end; and a host of cousins and friends.
Graveside Services Friday, August 14, 2020 at 12:00 noon at Silone Memorial Garden, Chase City, VA.
